Freedom and Fruit

What an amazing and fruitful few months we have had! Our days have been filled with meaningful meetings —both in public gatherings and in private leadership sessions —and each one has produced such rich fruit for the Kingdom of God. In Invictus, we’re discovering a fresh, life-giving rhythm of ministry. Holy Spirit is refining, renewing and reshaping us, adding new things, clearing away old things that are tired and past their due date and transforming the things He wants to remain. We could not be more grateful for all that God is doing.

In this newsletter, you’ll get to hear from others about some of the wonderful events from the past month —especially from our Canadian delegates who travelled to the British Isles for this year’s Call of the Wild Intensive in Wales. It was such a special and meaningful time, as they caught a deeper glimpse of what it means to be a part of a global ministry family. Their visit helped bridge the distance that can sometimes be there when you Come from Away,* called to anchor our hearts in love and allow Holy Spirit to connect us in His way and for His purpose, so that together, we can faithfully steward the call of God on our lives.

One of the most beautiful things we’ve witnessed lately is a remarkable increase in deliverance. It’s been especially moving to see leaders —many of who have been under intense spiritual attack, much of it due to overt witchcraft —come into the light of revelation and understand that they are not ‘losing it’, but rather gaining an understanding of what the enemy has been doing and then setting them free. Watching them discover hope, healing and freedom has been pure joy. Then to have the privilege of standing with them in their newfound freedom and worship the Lord together is something beyond price —a treasured privilege and a reminder of what an honour it is to be called into this kind of ‘prophetic work’.

For all who are called into prophetic ministry in any form, there’s such deep joy in embracing the freedom Jesus purchased for us at the Cross—and the radiant hope that burst forth for us all through His resurrection. As we move forward, let’s be intentional about extending that same gift of freedom to one another. Too often, we prophets have missed the mark by thinking it’s “our way or the highway”, but our recent Easter celebration reminds us of a better way. It’s an invitation to once again bring our perspectives and preferences to the Cross and allow its transforming power to do a deep work—not in others first, but within ourselves.

Happy Reading

*Note from Canada: the term "Come from Away" is used by those in the eastern part of the country to refer to anyone visiting or living there who was not born in that province.
