A Prophet’s Life:
Bernie and Margaret Andrew
Margaret and Bernie Andrew, who lead Invictus England, have lived in a pretty riverside village just outside Colchester for nearly 37 years. Having been married for almost 47 years, they have three children and two granddaughters - the second of whom arrived just short of the New Year 2026.

Bernie was born in the beautiful university city of Oxford, England. His mum was German and father an American GI whom he never knew. He left school at 16 and went to work in the local car factory. For much of his career, Bernie was an engineering buyer, working in manufacturing industries until retirement in 2019.
Margaret was born and grew up in Liverpool, England, where she studied for a degree in graphic design. After working as a lecturer at a small art and design college, she moved to Oxford to become part of the design department of the British charity, Oxfam. Ten days after arriving she met Bernie, who says he fell in love with her immediately and asked her to marry him seven weeks later!
“We were married 3 years later,” says Bernie. “And we're still married, praise the Lord!”
Here’s what Margaret and Bernie said when we asked them a few questions:
-
What has your past taught you?
Margaret: Firstly, that God is the perfect Father, who loves me unrelentingly despite my failures; and secondly, to keep on pushing deeper into relationship with Him and all He equips and calls me to do in His Kingdom.
Bernie: That the best thing I ever did was give my life to Jesus Christ.
2. What's happening with Invictus England right now? What does God want for London?
We remain committed to working faithfully with Invictus Prophetic Global, supporting those who we are joined with and encouraging people to pursue the Lord relentlessly.
For London, we're privileged to be supporting Cindy Heughan-Tulley who leads IPG London, and lives and works in London. We are following God’s leading to be prophetically missional to the city, to expand the prophetic and to train up and encourage the many young people who are hungry for God.
3. What is God saying to you right now?
Margaret: I'm aware, in a way like never before, that Jesus is coming back soon. And we, His Bride, have to wake up and get ready! So, whatever it is that I need to do to make myself ready, that's what I must be engaged with.
Bernie: Let the Word of God dwell in me richly - teach and admonish, encourage in all wisdom - and be thankful!
4. Is there anything else you would like to add?
Bernie: Somebody said this as I was contemplating the New Year and I couldn't put it better.
That I will step on the head of disappointment.
That I will break off stiff necked rebellion and allow the Holy Spirit to make me pliable.
That my ears will be open to His Word.
That I will seek to walk in purity and if I fall, repent and get up again and keep running.
Believe that I am the person He has called me to be and believe what He says about me.
It's all about Jesus.
