After a break over the summer, Kerry McGoldrick from Zoe Freedom & Prophetic Resources and I have been chatting about a new season of Prophetic Appointments, which we hope to start later this month.

We still believe strongly that God wants to speak and indeed continues to speak to people. He never contradicts His Word contained in the Bible, and we should always weigh any prophetic word against the weight of scripture.

We also need to say that scripture speaks loudest when we are searching for God to speak to us. Nevertheless, Paul says not to despise prophesy. (1 Thessalonians 5:20) This means we should not treat prophesy with contempt or scorn, nor dismiss it. In fact, Paul encourages us in 1Corinthians 14:1 to “Pursue love and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.” At the same time Paul says to test all things, and weigh what is being said. This is for our good and safe keeping and intended to strengthen, encourage, and comfort the church.

Prophesy is not fortune telling, neither is it clairvoyance, astrology, tarot, nor dealing with any occult or medium spiritist practices or things of that nature or realm.

God may speak into your past, your present or your future, but it’s to equip you for works of service not to tell you who you’re going to marry, how many babies you’re going to have or specific dates of events that will happen. In fact, God is much more concerned with fulfilling His word than necessarily the time it takes to fulfil it.

So, we are going to start up again our Prophetic Appointments using Kerry’s excellent Zoe Freedom Prophetic Resources platform.

We will be starting up soon and we will be advertising times and slots where you can sign up free of charge, and we will pray over you and trust Holy Spirit to speak life over you

.

So, we look forward to welcoming you to our Prophetic Appointments.

More details to follow.
