Visit to the Mariners Chapel Rowhedge, Essex

By Stephen Cummins
I was invited to preach at the Mariners Chapel, Rowhedge on Sunday, the 29th of June. This was the fifth time that I preached there. It is a place where I feel very welcomed by the lovely people at the Chapel.
I preached from the biblical text 2 Corinthians 3:18 "And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
The presence of God is felt strongly in this place and as I came to the close of my time, Holy Spirit led us into a time of ministry and prayer. He moved amongst us, meeting us in our deepest needs and transforming us in ways we don’t fully comprehend.
It was a great time as God blessed us and encouraged us and freed us. He has so much more for us than we presently have or understand.
Jesus is in the business of establishing His Father’s Kingdom on the earth and He is looking for those who will follow Him and make Him welcome. Mariners is such a place.
