Faith
By Heather Clayton, Invictus Wales

One of the resounding words I hear from the Spirit of God here in Wales at the moment is FAITH – particularly in the areas where we walk and have walked as people of God with more of a fearful foundation.

The Lord is truly exposing some of the fear in our hearts which has led to appeasement and people pleasing – but what we have not realised is that sometimes we are not just appeasing – we are giving legal entry to spirits that want nothing more than to dominate us and shut us down! And dare I say...some of these spirits are in operation in our church buildings as they have been given ground and become quite comfortable in our seeker friendly spaces for some time.

Quite often we can choose to seemingly ‘do the right thing’ by people, and that is not wrong in itself – especially when we don’t want to see anybody ‘left behind’ as we move forwards. The problem occurs either when either our adapted behaviour compromises what God has said to us, or said behaviour comes from a place of fear instead of faith.

Sometimes, this can be a hard thing for us as prophets and prophetic people – especially for those of us that ‘see’ and love – to try to work everything out.

We really have to choose the discomfort of ‘blind faith’ to act, instead of waiting until we can see or know all answers and be comfortable!

Blind Faith

As a prophetic company, we hear the Lord speak in so many different ways – here is one that ONLY HE could have instigated for such a time as this...

The journey starts over 20 years ago, when we first felt the Lord was calling us to Wales. Very quickly after moving up to a place, unbeknownst to us, that the enemy had clearly claimed, I was thrust into a fierce spiritual battle over the land. Manifest witchcraft became a daily norm for some time, and I honestly had little idea how to overcome it. Holy Spirit training school was very quickly put in place and one of the first words I felt the Lord impress on me was ‘blind faith’. I had not been this way before, so could not rely at all on any past experience.

I spent many years actively walking in ‘blind faith,’ in order to overcome – although I joined and was ordained by a prophetic network a few years later.

When, around 2020, the prophetic movement began to flood social media, we were all very much encouraged to ‘see in the Spirit.’ This again is good, as long as it is the Lord that instigates and enables it!

The Lord began to speak to me about birthing something in Wales from March 2020 onwards and after seeking wisdom and beginning to realise that I had not just imagined it, Invictus Wales officially began. As prompted by the Lord, on 18th March 2021 and we bore the name ‘Ty y Gweledyddion’ – House of Seers.

Somewhere over the past few years though, we, as a prophetic movement became more reliant on our ability to see and work things out before we acted, than to follow the ‘blind faith’ we began with. We opted for what made sense to us, rather than the mysteries of God. We seemed to have a lot of the answers; we modelled ourselves on businesses and began to rely on the things we’d seen and done in the past to take us forwards.

During these years, the Lord kept giving me dreams about ‘letting go’ of the ways of the world and learning to walk specifically by faith into the supernatural, rather than by sight. In some of these dreams – what I ‘saw’ was only a front for something behind it and He kept saying ‘sight goes nowhere without faith’.

Meanwhile, the Lord was speaking to a lady, Jessica, whom I knew nothing of. She was in the USA at the time and is a powerful prophetic artist.

She had a significant encounter with the Lord about the Welsh revival on 18th March 2020. And, this date has been long marked as a ‘breakthrough, legacy day’ in her life when He gave her the idea for this painting.

Alongside this, Jessica began to have encounters with God where He started speaking to her through the theme of wild horses. On 18th March 2024, Jessica wrote about the painting she had named, “Blind Faith”.

BLIND FAITH
Revealing the face of a horse in the wild.
Open and yet free, it hasn’t run since a child.
Unsure of the path and unsure of its place.
Then the colours reveals its sweet, unassuming face.
Unbridled and free, yet blinded in faith.
It’s led forward, despite the fog covering its face.
The mystery evolves and faith takes its course.
Leading its feet to places it has never been before.

“Blind faith” is the answer to the mysterious call.
No sight and just trust, the horse trusts it all.
With no idea where it will end or where it did start.
Requiring a moment to trust the depths of its heart.
Blinded and yet believing, its feet still stand strong.
Faith leading this horse to where it belongs.
Still full of colour and expectant for breakthrough.
The fog will soon lift and reveal the clear truth.
Nothing is impossible when faith leads the way.
Letting go of control, surprises turn to praise.
Blinded and yet free, the way becomes clear.
Love takes its place and replaces any fears.
Blind faith is for the brave in order to become free.
Trust it will be wild and yet full of safety!
You are in safe hands and can walk in deep faith.
He has gone before you and will make a way.

I first met Jessica at the end of an Invictus event we had in London in April 2024. It was not long after the time the white horse had bolted (with others) through the streets of London, drenched in blood. Jessica started talking about this event and about how she had prophetically painted a white horse. At the time, the only connection we made was that the Lord may be saying something, as our logo is a white horse. (From Revelation 19:11-16)

On 18th March 2026, quite incredibly, the ‘Blind Faith’ painting arrived at my house in Wales – totally unplanned and of the Lord although I still didn’t know it’s title. It had been brought up, along with some other artwork, to our Call of the Wild Intensive by Cindy Heughan.

When Cindy left, a few days later, she forgot to take the artwork back with her!

On 28th March 2026, during another Invictus teaching day in London, I was absolutely bowled over to talk once more to Jessica and hear firstly that the painting was called ‘Blind Faith’ and secondly how the Lord had so incredibly engineered the whole story and the significance of the dates!

ONLY GOD…. He can intervene in the blink of an eye. But, He also speaks to us through process if we will only stop and turn aside long enough to listen and wonder at His incredible timing!

There is such a message for us in Wales – but also for us everywhere right now. The Lord is calling us back to having ‘blind faith’ in the things He is leading us into and through. This does not at all mean that we haven’t learnt or grown or that we just let go of everything we have learnt. But rather that we allow Him to lead us and not try to work everything out – so that He can accomplish way above and beyond that which we have previously seen or imagined.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
